his listing is for a vintage Ray Hyman brand saxophone neck strap. Hyman straps have long been included as original accessories with Selmer Paris saxophones, and in the Selmer catalog. This is definitely an older one, as it has a metal adjustment mechanism rather than plastic. I would guess that this strap dates to the 1960's, or thereabouts.
This strap is in overall very good used condition. The adjustor works properly, although the paint on it is worn. There are a few minor spots on the black band, but overall it is very clean. There is a rubber coating on the hook which may or may not be original.
